A variety of flavors and a good amount of caffeine come out of Arabica coffee, but if you want a strong and bitter coffee, Robusta is the bean you're looking for. Your roast will affect the flavor and caffeine content as well, typically following a trend of with a darker roast, there comes slightly less caffeine, and a darker flavor.
