Syria is a country of political, humanitarian and armed conflict today. Bombings are destroying crowded cities and horrific human rights violations are widespread. Basic necessities like food and medical care are sparse. Due to international intervention and acceptance of Syrian citizens, around 11 million Syrian refugees have found asylum in different countries over the past years. Between 2010 to 2014, there has been a considerable spike in the magnitude of Syrian refugees finding asylum in some of these top countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. Over recent years there has been a rise in new countries such as Egypt, Jordan, Bulgaria and Iraq accepting Syrian Refugees.
